Amazing "English Breakfast" and off to Birmingham to see some friends,,,

Okay, so it is 1 AM and I think I just figured out this "issue" with the reverse order I'm having! Unfortunately, will do the next post in correct order because I'm quite tired! Now I can really appreciate all my wonderful hubby's efforts with this!

Here we are near Birmingham visiting with some of Mary Lou's old friends from Maryland. What a wonderful family and wonderful time we had!
The girls all got to know each other instantly and just had a blast.
Mom got to practice holding a 3 month old sweet Eva-she is ready for November and her next grandchild to come! I got to love on this baby too!

What luck, another trampoline!

Needing to backtrack and no photos to show as evidence I must admit my first time on the motorway (British highway) was wonderfully simple being I had a personal escort (Thank you Mr. Steve Neish) to assist! We arrived in Stanstead around 8:30ish and off to Avis for a teeny weeny Peugeot. This little car was much appreciated on these sometimes teeny weeny roads! Getting use to the left side and the round-a-bouts pretty easily-especially with my private escort guiding the way.

The fact that we arrived pretty late was no reason for the Neish Family to hold back on the feast they had waiting for us! What a wonderful warm welcome-my only regret was that I didn't take a photo of the feast to show you just how amazing it was. We are so grateful for such warm hospitality and only now hope our bodies fit into the airplane seat when we return and that we don't exceed the weight restrictions!
The girls at breakfast with Elise in their own private dining area-boy do we love this!
The lovely Neish family and Steve's most delicious English Breakfast-YUM!

Even mom is getting use to tons of food!
The girls feeling quite at home here...The girls have also enjoyed the nearby playground which I still haven't seen. I'm sure there will be another visit or two with some pix.

The next post will be our spectacular, adventurous day in the beautiful city of Cambridge...only that post has to be after I'm well rested so that I can get the photos in the right order! Good night!

  1. Cambridge college looks fantastic. What architecture. Love the rain hat Mary Lou. I bet the pic's from the Safari are terrific. Rhinos, tigers, bears, etc., but no killer swans?
