And, we're off!! The adventure begins!


We arrived in London after a couple fairly uneventful flights. Passport stamps all around!


Now for the fun part - driving. Things didn't quite go as planned after Tim took Mom and the girls back to his place in his car, using his GPS. Avis was sold out of GPS units, so all we really had to go by was a map of the UK. We didn't know where we were going (other than having a street address that we knew was about 30 minutes from Heathrow) and our phones didn't work. Oh yeah, and we got a stick-shift and had never driven on the left side of the road. And we hadn't slept in quite some time. Too easy!!!





We made it! We're going to feel quite at home inTim's little place with only 9 bathrooms. Unfortunately Dee and the girls are back in the states - we would have loved to share this day with them.


Now a walk down to the Thames.





Dinner at a "proper" pub included Fish and Chips, Steak and Ale Pie, and of course some Ale!
