Day 1 in Germany!

OK, so the German invasion truly began on this day. We awoke in Cologne and decided to take full advantage of this detour, er ... diversion.

We left our hotel and headed for the famous Dom, the largest and oldest cathedral in the universe. I'm guessing here.

And there she is ...

Ooh.

Aah.

The front door alone is the largest in the world. Still guessing here.

Not being able to read Latin or German, we were forced to come up with our own interpretations of the more abstract art. We think this piece shows an early form of acupuncture:

To our knowledge, there was no sign indicating that this is not allowed:

We left Cologne and headed for Wurzburg. Someone was happy to see us.

Naomi was also excited about the arrival of the "Fruwis"!

And then we headed to the Weinfest! But dinner first!

And drinks.

Checking out the dance floor.

Hanging out with the one and only Iceman!

Somehow Dennis got a VIP necklace.

And then the dancing began.

Dani sees a table that needs to be danced upon.

  1. The magnificent Koln cathedral, incredible architecture, and a weinfest - what a great start for Fruhs in Deutschland. Toll! (I think that means wonderful).

  2. Perhaps this part of the stay should be called Fruhs Weinfesting 2010? Do you really believe in coincidences? Think not.
