We're back! The Cotswolds are an unbelievably beautiful part of the world, but they are not a haven for WiFi hot spots. Sorry for the delay in sharing our travel fun.
And by the way, thanks for the recent posts! OK, back to blogging.
So, we had our first "official" English breakfast in Wales. Eggs, sausage, bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms.
By the way, today's blog is brought to you by Starbucks.
We left Wales in search of a new diversion.
And here's our B&B in Farmcote.
A little closer.
We spent some time checking out the 1000 year old church on the property:
Dinner time took us to the Plough pub:
In an effort to avoid eating any more pork, I ordered what I thought was beef, Gammon Steak. This is very funny if you know what Gammon Steak is. I did not. Thank goodness there was good ale to be had. And Sticky Toffee Pudding!
Wednesday took us to Sudeley Castle, a 10-minute drive from the B&B. Henry the VIII's 6th wife was buried here back in the 1500's.
There are sheep everywhere.
Today's installment of "There Wasn't a Sign Saying Not to Do This":
These old castles always kept you feeling like there were apparitions or big skulls following you.
And off to the castle playground:
Today we left David Eayrs and his lovely B&B ...
in search of pottery.
Oxford for lunch:
It is key to stay left when driving in England, especially when in the one-lane, wooded areas. Avis is going to love us.
It's 1:00 am. Time for bed. Off to Germany tomorrow!
